What is a good job for someone who is good with kids?

I’m a 23 (almost 24) year-old female who is great with kids, primarily infants and small children. It’s not out of the ordinary that random children approach me and start talking to me, ask me about what I’m doing, ask to see my keys (I’m a huge Star Wars fan and I have Star Wars Lego figurine keychains on my keys), and I always make sure that their parents are around so that they know that their child is safe. I guess it’s because I’m a kid at heart. My mom says I should work with children but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be very good at any sort of discipline.

I also love art, and everything there is to know about art. I would love to go to a job where I get to wear my favorite jeans and tee shirt, sit on the floor and play with blocks and action figures or make finger paintings and crayon rubbings, all while helping kids. And then snack on some animal crackers! Haha LOL! JK!

Teaching assistant, Daycare assistant. Depending on where you live, look for Montessori schools. Its a specific type of school/learning system and while they do discipline its a completely different type which you might be good at. Most Montessori schools are charter/private so they don’t really care so much about the degree. They also highly promote art, music, foreign language, etc.
