Shonen jump manga artist?

do you think these pictures are good enough for a manga artist (p.s. these took me 10 minutes each) and i have a pretty good story line i just dont want anybody knowing untill i publish i moved to canda from japan so i dont know if i can publish them in shonen jump do you think i could

how would i become a manga artist of shonen jump in Canada?

That dragon is really good and the others are much better than most of the American artists I’ve seen(although I’m not sure if it’s quite good enough for Shonen Jump yet.)

I don’t know if Canada has the same restrictions as the US, but most likely you will need a bachelor’s degree to work in Japan. I suggest planning on going to college to learn art and Japanese(how do you expect to work in Japan if you don’t know the language). What you should do is look into finding an exchange program, so that you can actually go out to Japan to study. If you plan now, then maybe your parents will let you go study in Japan in high school. There are a lot of different exchange programs out there. Some are good and some might be scams, so make sure you research the program to make sure it is legit.

You have a lot of talent. You should work on your own comic. Once you start creating your own comics you can see what people think and see if it’s something you really love. You can also have a webcomic or go to anime/comic conventions and sell copies of your comic. If you want to get into the industry you need to have a portfolio of the work you can do. There’s also contest that you can enter. Tokyopop has their manga contest, but there’s also other International contests all around the world, including some big ones in Japan. Most of these require you to submit a manga with a certain number of pages.
